Educational Background
Guinara Dousmatova graduated from the philological faculty of Kazakhstan State University named after S.M. Kirov in 1989.
Early Career: Acting Breakthrough
Dousmatova's cinematic debut came in 1979 with the role of young Aigerim in "Pursuit in the Steppe." The film's success propelled her into the limelight, earning her numerous movie offers.
Television and Film Career
In 1982, Dousmatova joined television as a news announcer. From 1985 onwards, she was a fixture at the "Kazakhfilm" film studio. Over her three decades in the industry, she appeared in over 20 films and television series.
Critical Acclaim
Dousmatova received the Grand Prize for Best Actress at the All-Union Film Festival in Minsk in 1985 for her role in "The Human Factor." Several other films featuring her performances won awards at prestigious international festivals.
Notable Performances
Among Dousmatova's most acclaimed works are her roles in "Running Target," "Dream within a Dream," "Cardiogram," and the allegorical parable "Wind-Man" by Huat Akhmetov. In 2000, she was recognized as "Actress of the Year."
