Early Life and Training

Guloomjon Abdullaev is an Uzbek freestyle wrestler. He trains at the Tashkent "Dynamo" sports school under the guidance of Bakhtiyor Sobirov and Latif Karimov.

Success at the Junior Level

Abdullaev achieved his first major international success at the 2016 U20 World Championships in Macon, France, where he won the bronze medal in the 74 kg weight category by defeating Japanese Takumi Toshiro in the third-place match. He has also placed on the podium at several prestigious international tournaments and is a two-time Asian Youth Champion.

Rise through the Ranks

In 2018, Abdullaev joined the senior team of the Uzbekistan national team. In April 2021, he qualified for the Tokyo Olympics by defeating Kyrgyzstan's Bekbulat Mirnazarov at the Asian Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Kazakhstan. Abdullaev is a promising talent in freestyle wrestling and has the potential to make a significant impact on the international stage.
