Hana Havelkova is considered one of the most famous and talented fashion designers among the fashion designers in the Czech Republic. She has not only won numerous major fashion competitions, but also designed a dress for a woman who later became Miss World. Hana studied at the School of Art and Design in Prague from 1976 to 1980. In 1991, she created her own label 'HH'. Throughout her fashion career, Hana has twice received the highest award from the prestigious Czech fashion competition 'Designer of the Season'; in 1995, she received this award at the Fair Fashion Brno, and in 2006, at the Prague Fashion Week. Hana is also a member of the Czech Fashion Academy. She has participated in several major fashion projects, including collaborating with the fashion house 'Taiza' to develop sample dresses for the 'Miss Czech Republic' beauty pageant. In 2006, the winner of 'Miss Czech Republic', Tatana Kucharova, became 'Miss World' wearing a satin dress designed by Hana Havelkova, which itself ranked 6th in the 'Dress Designer' competition at Miss World. Hana Havelkova also achieved first place at the prestigious annual '1. Innovation Modedesigner Cup' competition in Frankfurt, Germany. From 1993 to 2001, she developed a series of collections called 'La Femme' for the largest Czech fashion company 'OP Prostejov'. Her designs were not only sold in the Czech Republic, but also in other European countries, and they gained impressive success. In 1993, Hana opened her first 'HH' store in Prague and four years later, in 1997, a second store opened nearby.

A year ago, Hana presented her latest collection at the New York Fashion Week and the Paris Fashion Week. Since 1998, Hana has regularly participated in the 'Skoda Auto' fashion projects, which take place in Frankfurt, Leipzig, Hamburg, Paris, and Prague. Hana Havelkova specializes in creating intricate designs. Her models aim to preserve the personal qualities of the wearer, emphasize the continuity of traditions, and achieve the highest quality using modern techniques and approaches. The 'HH' label is associated with elegance, impeccable craftsmanship, and an unparalleled sense of taste. Hana draws inspiration from various sources, but she is particularly inspired by the architecture of the last century. Different movements such as cubism, functionalism, constructivism, and Bauhaus serve as an inexhaustible source of inspiration for her. Hana's talent is especially evident in her acclaimed evening dresses and wedding gowns. She often works on special orders, creating unique garments according to the specific wishes of the client.
