Hannah Marshall was born in 1982 in Essex, England. Her talents began to manifest at an early age, and by the time she was 16, she had made up her mind to become a designer. Marshall was fortunate to have a supportive mother who stood by her when she decided to enroll in college. In 2003, she graduated from the Colchester School of Art & Design in Colchester, England, marking the beginning of her journey towards international fame.

Marshall's unique vision and rich experience gained from working with renowned London designers caught the attention of the Creative Pioneer Programme, a project created by the National Endowment for Science, Technology, and the Arts (NESTA). At the age of 21, Marshall became the youngest participant among thirty other entrepreneurs who were provided with resources for personal and professional development through the Creative Pioneer Programme. As she learned to transform her ideas into a business, Marshall gained the support of The Centre for Fashion Enterprise, an innovative strategic company for the development of London's fashion industry. She received recognition from organizations such as Gen Art in New York, Channel 4, and New Generation.

In 2007, Marshall launched her own label, "Hannah Marshall," and her debut collection, "Quiet Noise," premiered at the On|Off exhibition during London Fashion Week. She presented her collection "VoID" in September 2007. Her next fashion line, "Code Black," was showcased at the prestigious "New Gen" event, sponsored by the legendary brand "Topshop," where Marshall received a substantial monetary award. She directed all the funds towards the development of her "Armour" collection, which was later showcased at the London Fashion Week Exhibition.

In 2010, Marshall had the opportunity to showcase her "Encryption" Spring/Summer 2010 collection at London Fashion Week with the support of British supermodel Erin O'Connor. The following year, she participated in the "Aurora Fashion Week" in St. Petersburg, Russia, where she presented her Spring/Summer 2011 collection, collaborating with British photographer John Rankin Waddell. In 2011, Marshall collaborated with "Nike" and designed the "Nike N98" jacket.
