Early Life and Career
Born in Saitama, Japan, Haruka Kojima embarked on her entertainment journey in 1998 as a member of the idol group Angel Eyes. The group disbanded in 2001, but Kojima's passion for the industry remained.
Joining AKB48
In 2005, Kojima auditioned for the idol group AKB48 and became a member of Team A upon its debut in December 2005. She made her major debut with AKB48 on the single "Aitakatta" released in October 2006.
Sub-Units and Collaborations
Throughout her time with AKB48, Kojima participated in several sub-units. In September 2008, she debuted in No Sleeves alongside Minami Takahashi and Minami Minegishi. She also joined AKB Idoling!!!, a collaborative group between AKB48 and Idoling!!!
Acting and Elections
Kojima made her acting debut in the drama "Mendol: Ikemen Idol" alongside Takahashi and Minegishi in 2008. She consistently ranked highly in AKB48's annual general elections, participating under the pseudonym NyanNyan Kamen in 2016.
Graduation and Legacy
On June 18, 2016, during the 8th General Elections, Kojima announced her graduation from AKB48. She officially left the group in April 2017, leaving behind a legacy as one of its most iconic members.
