Heidi Range, a British singer and member of the group Sugababes, was born in 1983 in Liverpool, England. From a young age, Heidi showed a love for music and a natural talent for performing. At the age of three, she had her first public performance in the Neptune Theatre in Liverpool, singing "Hey Little Hen". Heidi's dream was always to become a singer, and in 1997, she auditioned to join the group Scooch, but was not accepted due to her age.

In 1998, Heidi joined the newly formed group Atomic Kitten, but her time with the band was short-lived. After a few months and recording only one album with Atomic Kitten, Heidi decided to pursue other opportunities. She later reflected on those years, saying, "I wanted to perform R&B and work in different genres."

In 2001, Heidi joined the highly popular British girl group Sugababes, replacing Siobhán Donaghy.
