Henry Holland: A Nonconformist Fashion Designer
Early LifeHenry Holland was born in 1982 in Ramsbottom, England.
Rise to Fame
In 2007, Holland gained popularity with the release of his collection of t-shirts featuring provocative slogans such as "I'll tell you who's boss, Kate Moss," "Get your freak on Giles Deacon," "Cause me pain Hedi Slimane," "Suck my look, Basso&Brook," "Do me daily Christopher Bailey," and "Uhu Gareth Pugh." These witticisms were co-created with writer Chris Williamson. In the same year, he was awarded the Scottish Fashion Awards for his autumn-winter 2008-2009 collection.

Club Kids Collection

Collaborations
In late 2008, Holland designed a denim collection for "Levi's" for the spring-summer 2009 season. He also collaborated with model Agyness Deyn on a jewelry line in the same year. Additionally, Holland signed a contract with the popular department store "Debenhams" to create a limited collection called "Henry Holland for Debenhams."
Take That World Tour
In the early summer of 2009, Holland designed a series of costumes for the world tour of the British band "Take That."
