In 1539, Sultan Suleiman I appointed Sinan as his court architect. He served under Suleiman I, Selim II, and later sultans, creating monumental buildings in Istanbul, Turkey, and beyond.

- Shahzadeh Mosque (1543-1548):A large, centralized building with a central dome supported by four octagonal pillars.

- Süleymaniye Mosque (1549-1557):A vast structure with a central dome and two side domes, reminiscent of the Hagia Sophia.

- Selimiye Mosque (1567-1574):Completed in his late years, this mosque features a square prayer hall topped by a massive dome supported by eight pillars.

Sinan's exquisite minarets and lavish interiors adorned his mosques. His architectural style influenced Islamic architecture for centuries to come. He established an architectural order and trained numerous students, including Yusuf, who spread his art to India.
