Early Career and EducationIvan Fyodorovich Karakis (1906-1993) was a prominent Ukrainian Soviet architect. In 1930, he graduated from the architectural faculty of the Kyiv Art Institute.
"Oktyabr" Society and Collaborative Projects
In the same year, Karakis joined forces with fellow architects to establish the "Oktyabr" society. Together, they designed notable landmarks in Kyiv, including:
