Biography of Hot Chocolate
Hot Chocolate is a female pop group that has a repertoire of dozens of lyrical and upbeat compositions. The project is represented by two well-known producers, Dmitry Klimashenko and Andrey Pasichnik. The group's single 'Bereg' has achieved gold status in Russia, with sales of 100,000 copies, making Hot Chocolate one of the most popular groups in Ukraine and Russia. They have also received the 'Golden Gramophone' award.
Achievements and Recognition
Hot Chocolate has been nominated in various categories, including 'Breakthrough of the Year' and 'Best RnB Video' at the SHOWTIME RNB/HIP-HOP Awards 2008. They have participated in the ceremonial send-off for the Ukrainian National Olympic team at the XXIX Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. The group also made it to the finals of the Ukrainian national selection for the 'Eurovision-2009' contest and the finale of the TV project 'Chance.'
In addition, Hot Chocolate has been involved in prestigious events such as the opening of the 'Viva' award for 'Most Beautiful People,' the VIII annual International Media Rating Contest 'Golden Pen,' and the 'Golden Gramophone' in 2010 for their song 'Bereg.' They were also nominated for 'Best Group' at the Russian music channel RU.TV awards in 2011.
Recent Years
In 2012, Hot Chocolate had the honor of being special guests at a celebratory concert in honor of the President of Turkmenistan's anniversary. The group also filmed a video for their song 'Steny,' which gained over 1 million views on YouTube in a short period of time. In 2013, they premiered the music videos for 'Dve nedeli RAYA' and 'N mogu otvyknut.' The year 2014 saw the release of their music video for the song 'O nem,' directed by Dmitry Klimashenko and Alexander Filatovich.
In 2015, Hot Chocolate released their second studio album titled 'O Nem.' The group continues to captivate audiences with their catchy tunes and energetic performances, solidifying their status as one of the most successful pop groups in Ukraine and Russia.
