Biography of Sophie Caldwell
Early Career and World Cup Debut (2011-2012)American cross-country skier Sophie Caldwell began her competitive career in 2011. She made her World Cup debut on February 19, 2011. In November of the same year, she achieved her first career podium finish in a World Cup relay.
Consistent World Cup Performances (2012-2014)
Throughout her career, Caldwell has consistently placed within the top 10 in World Cup events, with 4 individual and 7 team podium finishes to her name. Her highest overall finish in the World Cup standings was 39th during the 2012-13 season.
Olympic Games (2014)
At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Caldwell represented Team USA in the 10km classical and sprint events. She finished 34th in the 10km and 19th in the sprint.
