Early Life and Education

Vasyl Lozynsky was born in Ukraine. His journey into music began with his enrollment in the vocal faculty of the Lviv State Conservatory in 1978, where he studied under renowned soprano Pavlina Karmalyuk and Oksana Darchuk. In 1979, he expanded his musical horizons by pursuing a conducting degree, graduating in the same year.

Professional Career

Lozynsky's professional career took off in 1965 when he joined the "Verkhovyna" ensemble. In 1978, he became a soloist with the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra. In 1980, he made his mark as a soloist at the Lviv Theater of Opera and Ballet. From 1998 to 1999, he served as the theater's artistic director.

Teaching and Masterclasses

In addition to his performing career, Lozynsky dedicated himself to teaching. From 1983 to 2012, he held various positions at the Lviv National Academy of Music, including professor and head of the department of solo singing. He also conducted masterclasses in Germany and Poland, sharing his vocal expertise with aspiring singers.
