Indra Sahdan is a renowned Singaporean football player who has made significant contributions to the sport both domestically and internationally.
Club Career and Record-Breaking Achievements
As a striker for Singapore Premier League club Singapore Armed Forces, Sahdan became the first Singaporean footballer to score 100 goals in the national league. His exceptional performances led to a lucrative contract with Home United in 2003, making him the highest-paid Singaporean footballer at the time. In addition to his domestic achievements, Sahdan has also gained recognition abroad. He had a training stint with English Premier League club Chelsea in 2003 and underwent a trial with American club Real Salt Lake in 2008.
International Success and Captaincy
Sahdan's impressive skills have extended to the international stage. He played a pivotal role in Singapore's victories in the ASEAN Football Federation Championship ("Tiger Cup") in 2004 and 2007.
