Irina Vasilevna Melnyk was born on March 30, 1962, in Fastov, Ukraine. From a young age, she displayed a passion for the arts, particularly acting. In 1983, she graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School after studying under renowned actor and director Viktor Karlovich Manyukov.

Theatre Career

Upon graduating, Melnyk joined the Dovzhenko Film Studio Theatre in Kyiv. Initially, she played minor roles, but her dedication and talent gradually earned her recognition. In 2001, she transitioned to the Kyiv Academic Comedy and Drama Theatre, where she has starred in over 15 productions.
