Early Life and EducationCaptain-Commander began his career in 1719 when he studied in Venice. This education laid the foundation for his future leadership in the Russian Navy.
Naval Commands
After completing his studies, Captain-Commander took command of a galley squadron. He played a significant role in the construction of a bridge across the Neva River during the reign of Anna Ioannovna. Triumph at Kornoström
Captain-Commander's military prowess reached its peak in 1742 when he commanded a force of two prams and seven galleys. Against all odds, he led his fleet to a decisive victory over the Swedish forces at Kornoström.
