Shortly after 'Spring Awakening', Iwan was cast in the series 'Misfits', which was described by '247 Magazine' as a mix of 'Skins' and 'Heroes'. Iwan began singing and songwriting at the age of 16 and was the lead vocalist of the band 'The Convictions'. However, he left the band to focus on his acting career. In April 2011, his second mini-album 'Changing Times' was ready, followed by his third mini-album 'Bang!Bang!' in April 2013. The song 'Bang!Bang!' also has a music video.
