At the age of five, Tiisi witnessed a captivating ballet performance on television and expressed an ardent desire to dance like those he saw. His parents enrolled him in a local ballet school, where he honed his skills until the age of 11. Soon after, he auditioned and gained admission to the prestigious Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milan.

During his studies, Tiisi encountered the renowned artistic director, Makhar Vaziev, who was impressed by his talent and offered him a position at La Scala upon graduation. However, Tiisi declined the offer, driven by a desire to explore his potential beyond Italy.

Vienna and Return to La Scala

Tiisi relocated to Vienna, where he spent a year gaining experience in the world-renowned ballet scene. While initially assigned to the corps de ballet, he eventually secured solo roles. In 2016, Vaziev, by then the artistic director of the Bolshoi Ballet, invited Tiisi to audition in Moscow. Tiisi accepted and moved to Russia in 2017, embarking on a transformative chapter in his career.
