Biography of Jaden Lieberer
Jaden Wesley Lieberer, an American actor, is best known for his role as young Bill Denbrough in the 2017 horror film "It". He has also gained attention for his work in the dramedies "St. Vincent" and "The Confirmation". Born on January 4, 2003, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jaden is the oldest of four children. His mother's side of the family has Korean ancestry, while his father's side consists of Belgians, Irish, Germans, English, Scots, and Franco-Canadians. His father, Wes Lieberher, is a renowned chef and the frontman of the music group Kill Verona, while his mother, Angela Martell, is a homemaker.

Jaden and his mother moved to Los Angeles in 2011, where he began receiving invitations for commercial video shoots. A few years later, Jaden appeared in his first short film, "The Grief", directed by George Bessudo. This 11-minute film tells the story of a young couple trying to cope with the loss of their only child. Jaden later worked with Theodore Melfi on the dramedy "St. Vincent", where he played the role of 12-year-old Oliver Bronstein, a boy who befriends a war veteran with a love for alcohol, gambling, and nightlife. The veteran was portrayed by the well-known actor Bill Murray. Jaden also had the opportunity to work with actresses Melissa McCarthy and Naomi Watts on the set of this film. Prior to the premiere of "St. Vincent", Jaden made his first appearance on the popular talk show "The Ellen Show". His portrayal of Oliver Bronstein earned him nominations for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Young Actor and the Online Film & Television Association Award. He also won awards from the Phoenix Film Critics Society and the Las Vegas Film Critics Society for his performance in this role.

In the romantic comedy "Playing It Cool", Jaden played the main character at the age of six (officially referred to as "six-year-old Me"). The character was also portrayed by Chris Evans in later stages of life. In 2015, Jaden lent his voice to an episode of the animated series "American Dad!" and played Mitchell Woodsides in Cameron Crowe's comedy "Aloha", where he reunited with Bill Murray. The same year, he landed the role of Johnny Masters, the son of gynecologist William Masters portrayed by Michael Sheen, in the TV series "Masters of Sex". In 2016, Jaden tried his hand at another short film, "Framed: The Adventures of Zion Man", where he played the lead role in a 10-minute fantasy film. After filming "The Confirmation" with Clive Owen, Jaden appeared in the sci-fi thriller "Midnight Special" alongside Michael Shannon and Joel Edgerton.

In 2017, Jaden starred in the underappreciated drama "The Book of Henry", where he played an 11-year-old genius who helps his single mother and his brother Peter deal with the hardships of life. However, Jaden gained the most recognition for his role in the horror film "It", where his character Bill Denbrough leads the "Losers' Club", a group of unpopular schoolchildren who confront the terrifying clown Pennywise, played by Bill Skarsgård. Jaden revealed in an interview that he received the book from his aunt, who is a big fan of Stephen King, the author of "It", but he did not read it due to its frightening content and its thickness. He also recalled being scared when he first saw Bill Skarsgård in his clown costume on set. Jaden's favorite moments from filming "It" were the scenes with the other kids in the "Losers' Club", as they became best friends and had a great time together throughout the shoot.

To prepare for his role as Bill Denbrough, who stutters, Jaden studied videos on YouTube about the causes and mechanisms of stuttering and watched videos of children with speech problems. He even worked with a speech therapist and spent two weeks speaking with a stutter to his family members to fully immerse himself in the role.
In 2017, Jaden began filming "The True Adventures of Wolfboy" directed by Martin Krejčí. The film also features Chloë Sevigny, Eve Hewson, and Chris Messina. He also played the lead role in Kevin McMullin's film "Low Tide", which was in post-production as of December 2017.
Aside from acting, Jaden enjoys skateboarding and is a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team.
