Success in Russia and Kazakhstan
In 2001, Irismetov moved to Russian club Spartak Moscow, where he won the Commonwealth Cup and became a Russian champion. However, he found his greatest success in Kazakhstan, where he scored an impressive 75 goals in 149 official matches for various teams. His prolificacy earned him the title of top scorer in the Kazakh Premier League in 2006 and 2007.
International Career
Irismetov represented the Uzbekistan national team, where he made significant contributions. His international career reached its peak in 1999 when he scored 45 goals in a single season of the Uzbekistani league, setting a national record that still stands today.
