Early Life and EducationDennis Storhøi, born on July 15, 1960, hails from the island of Kråkerøy in Fredrikstad. After completing a year in teacher's college, he pursued acting at the College of Performing Arts in Oslo, now a part of the National Academy of the Arts.
Theatre and Film
Storhøi initially made his mark on stage, performing in plays by renowned authors such as Ibsen, Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, and Wilde. From 1991 to 2009, he was a member of Oslo's New Theatre, renowned for his leading roles in productions like "My Fair Lady," "Chicago," and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
His film debut came in 1988's "Kamilla og tyven." Subsequent notable roles include "The 13th Warrior" (as Herger the Joyous), "Two Lives" (as Hugset), and "Battle for the Heavy Water" (as Bjørn Henriksen). In 2016, he received an Amanda Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the horror-comedy "Project Z."
