Biography of Jamie Alexander

Early Life and Career

Jamie Alexander is an American actress born in Greenville, South Carolina and raised in Grapevine, Texas before moving to Los Angeles. She attended Colleyville Heritage High School where she excelled in wrestling.

Breakthrough in Film

Jamie made her film debut in 2004 in the comedy "Catch That Kid". She then appeared in two thrillers in 2006, "The Other Side" and "Rest Stop", and in 2007, she starred in the video film "Hallowed Ground" as a girl who is destined to play an important role in a bloody cult worship. In 2011, she played the role of Sif in Marvel Comics' film adaptation of "Thor".

Television Career

Jamie has made guest appearances in various television shows including "Entourage", "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", "Bones", "C.S.I.: Miami", and "Nurse Jackie". From 2006 to 2007, she had a recurring role in the TV series "Watch Over Me" as Caitlin Porter. From 2007 to 2009, she portrayed Jesse in the second and third seasons of the TV series "Kyle XY".

Current Projects

Since 2015, Jamie has been playing the lead role of Jane Doe in the TV series "Blindspot".

Personal Life

From 2012, Jamie was in a relationship with actor Peter Facinelli and they got engaged in March 2015. However, the couple ended their relationship in February 2016.
