Early LifeSabrina Ferilli, an Italian film actress, was born in Rome. Her father was a speaker for the Communist Party in the regional parliament of Lazio, so she grew up with strong left-wing political beliefs, which she often openly expresses.
Early Career
After finishing school, Sabrina rejected an invitation from the Experimental Cinematography Centre in Rome and instead began teaching diction lessons. This decision helped her avoid getting involved in the adult film industry, where she was being invited due to her physical appearance. Her career took off when she worked at a renowned film center in Rome and participated in a local theater production. However, her breakthrough film was "The Red American" in 1991. This role led to more opportunities and substantial paychecks for her film work. In 1993, she won the Italian Critics' Award for Best Actress in the film "The Beautiful Life."
