Biography of James Bradford DeLong
James Bradford DeLong, born on June 24, 1960, in Boston, is an economist and policy professor. He currently serves as a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and as a visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. DeLong is also a professor of economics and chairs the department of political economy at the University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to his academic career, DeLong worked as the deputy assistant secretary in the United States Department of the Treasury during the Clinton Administration.
