Biography of Jana Bode

Jana Bode is a former German luger who competed for the German national team in the early 1980s to the late 1990s. She participated in the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway, and finished in fourteenth place in the women's singles event.

Achievements

Jana Bode has won five medals in the World Championships, including one gold medal in the women's singles event in 1996. She also won two silver medals (women's singles event in 1997; mixed team event in 1996) and two bronze medals (women's singles event in 1990, 1991).

She has achieved podium finishes five times in the European Championships, with one gold medal in the women's singles event in 1996. She also won three silver medals (women's singles event in 1994; mixed team event in 1990, 1994) and one bronze medal (women's singles event in 1990).
