Early Life and Education

Zhaniya Aubakirova is a distinguished Kazakhstani pianist, music educator, and professor. Born into a family with strong academic and musical backgrounds, she pursued her musical education at the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, graduating in 1979. She further completed her post-graduate studies in 1981 under the guidance of Professor L. N. Vlasenko.

Musical Career Highlights

Aubakirova began her remarkable career as a concertmaster at the Abai State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater in 1979. She has also held teaching positions at the Moscow Conservatory and the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, rising to the rank of professor in 1993. As a soloist, she performed with the Kazakh State Philharmonic Society named after Zhambul from 1983 onwards.

Foundation of the Zhaniya Aubakirova Author's School

Recognizing the need for innovative music education, Aubakirova established the "Zhaniya Aubakirova Author's School" in 1994. This institution employs contemporary educational methods and technologies to nurture young musical talents.

Leadership of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory

From 1997 to 2018, Aubakirova served as the Rector of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. Under her leadership, the institution achieved national status in 2001.
