Jason Derulo
Jason Derulo: Biography
Jason Derulo, born Jason Joel Desrouleaux in 1989, is an American singer and songwriter. He was born in Miami, Florida, to Haitian parents. At a young age, Jason developed an interest in performing arts and began acting in plays at the age of 5. By the age of 8, he had already written his first song, "Crush on You". He was deeply inspired by Michael Jackson and often mimicked his moves and singing style. Later, he found inspiration in the music of Justin Timberlake and Usher.

Jason received his education at the Dillard Center for the Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and later graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York. It was during his time at the Dillard Center that he met his future manager, Frank Harris, at the age of 12. By the age of 16, Jason was already writing songs for artists such as Diddy, Danity Kane, Sean Kingston, and Cassie.

In 2006, Jason won the grand prize on the popular television show "Apollo", which led to a contract with producer J.R. Rotem. This contract paved the way for Jason's work with renowned record labels such as Beluga Heights Records and Warner Bros. Records. In the same year, he achieved his first major success with the release of the single "Bossy", performed by rapper Birdman for the album "5 * Stunna".

However, Jason's own debut single, "Whatcha Say", released in August 2009, catapulted him to stardom. The song quickly topped the "Billboard Hot 100" chart and became a champion of internet sales. His follow-up hit, "Hide and Seek", also reached the top of the charts. In March 2010, Jason released his first album, self-titled "Jason Derulo". He went on to perform a series of concerts in support of his album, including a performance at Lady Gaga's tour.

In September 2011, Jason released his second studio album, "Future History", which reached number one in the UK charts and made it to the top five hits in Australia. Despite his success, Jason does not see himself as competing with others but rather strives to be the best version of himself. He has no plans to stop and aims to continue pushing boundaries and achieving even greater success in the future.
