Jason Dohring is an American actor best known for his roles in the television series "Veronica Mars" and "Moonlight".
Early Life and Family
Jason William Dohring was born on March 30, 1982, in Ohio, USA. His parents are Doug, the owner of marketing research firm Dohring Company, and Laurie. Jason is the eldest sibling and has three younger siblings: twin brothers Robert and Jonathan, and twin sisters Kirsten and Kelsey.
Career
Dohring began his acting career with guest roles in various television series, including "Roswell", "CSI: Miami", "Boston Public", and "Baywatch". In 2002, he gained recognition through his appearances in television commercials for Domino's Pizza, Pepsi, and Honda.
"Veronica Mars"
Dohring's breakthrough role came in the teen drama "Veronica Mars" (2004), where he portrayed Logan Echolls. Initially auditioning for the role of Duncan, he was ultimately cast as Logan, while Teddy Dunn played Duncan.
"Moonlight"
In "Moonlight" (2007-2008), Dohring starred as Joseph Kostan, a 400-year-old vampire who serves as the best friend and mentor to the lead character, Mick (Alex O'Loughlin). Joseph is a charismatic and indulgent vampire, known for his lavish lifestyle and his "harem" of willing blood donors.
Other Projects
