Javier Martí Hernans was born on January 11, 1992, in Madrid, Spain. He is a Spanish professional tennis player currently ranked 184th in the world. Martí is a right-hander and his coach is Oscar Burrieza.
Early Career
Martí made his debut in the professional tennis circuit in September 2007, playing in his first Futures tournament where he successfully qualified for the main draw. In 2008, Martí earned his first ATP ranking points by reaching the quarterfinals of the Spain F33 Futures in Oviedo. He finished the 2008 season with two quarterfinal appearances and one semifinal in Futures tournaments.
