Biography of Jayne Pierson
Jayne Pierson, a Welsh fashion designer, was born in 1969 or 1970 in Wales. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, USA. Pierson obtained her Bachelor's degree in Fashion and Design with distinction from the University of Glamorgan. She also studied for a period of time at the renowned Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.
Award-winning Designer
Pierson's talent and dedication were recognized when she won the London Graduate Fashion Week Ecological Design Award. Even as a student, she had the opportunity to work at Alexander McQueen's fashion house and gained experience as a design assistant at Vivienne Westwood. Pierson admires Vivienne Westwood greatly but acknowledges that her own projects are distinct from Westwood's.
Debut Collection
In September 2009, Pierson showcased her debut collection at London Fashion Week. Her unique designs garnered attention and praise from the fashion industry.
