Brazilian Footballer Jean Carlos

Early Career

Jean Carlos is a Brazilian striker who made his mark in the Bulgarian league before moving to Russia. Prior to joining Levvski Sofia, he played for various teams in Brazil.

Arrival at Levvski Sofia

On December 5, 2007, Jean Carlos arrived in Bulgaria and signed a three-year contract with Levvski on the following day. He made his debut in a friendly match against Dynamo Kyiv on January 20, 2008, and scored his first goal for the club in a victory over Dynamo České Budějovice on February 5, 2008.

European Debut and Departure

Jean Carlos made his European debut for Levvski in a Champions League qualifier against BATE on August 13, 2008. On February 6, 2009, he was sold to Russian club Amkar Perm.

Career in Amkar Perm

Carlos made his debut for Amkar in a friendly match against Shinnik on February 14, 2009. He scored his first goal for the club against Rubin Kazan on May 16, 2009. Despite being a regular starter, Carlos was placed on the transfer list at the end of 2009 and began preparing for the 2010 season with the youth team.

Loan to Shinnik and Back to Amkar

After completing a loan spell at Shinnik, Carlos returned to Amkar. However, head coach Rashid Rakhimov expressed concerns about Carlos's inconsistent performances and lack of professionalism.

Loan to Ceara and Later Career

On February 13, 2010, Carlos was loaned to Shinnik for six months. He later joined Brazilian club Ceara on loan until the end of the season. Carlos has since made several appearances for various clubs, including Veranópolis. He is known for his unpredictable movements and ability to create scoring opportunities for his teammates.
