Jennifer Harman is a professional American poker player and a well-known figure in the world of poker. She was born in 1964 in Reno, Nevada. She spent a lot of time observing her father play with his friends, and one day she stepped in to replace her father in a game, and she was surprisingly good at it.

During her childhood and teenage years, Harman faced serious health problems and required a double kidney transplant. After finishing school, she attended the University of Nevada in Reno, where she earned a degree in biology. Later, Harman moved to Los Angeles, where she participated in her first poker tournament. This experience made her seriously consider a professional career in poker. As her career as a biologist didn't offer much, she had nothing to lose.

However, her father strongly opposed this career change, so Harman had to wait a little longer before pursuing poker seriously. She tried starting her own business, but when it failed, she returned to the world of poker with a clear conscience. Her first major victory came in 2000 when she won her first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet. Despite her petite frame and small stature, Harman managed to deceive many opponents who underestimated her.

Two years later, she won another WSOP bracelet in a Texas Hold'em tournament. Harman experienced setbacks before her victories, facing several serious losses. Each time, she tried to overcome these challenges by not only relying on luck but also by studying numerous poker books and learning from the opinions of famous players. Eventually, Harman developed her own strategy, which allowed her to make a living from playing poker.

Afterward, she founded "Creating Organ Donation Awareness" (CODA), a non-profit organization that assists individuals in need of organ transplants.
