Early Life and Youth Career

Kurt Sorensen, a Danish football player, made his debut for the Danish U-19 team in March 2000. His impressive performance caught the attention of Dutch club Feyenoord, leading to a professional contract in 2001. In 2002, Sorensen was named Denmark's U-19 Player of the Year.

Feyenoord and Loan Spells

Despite failing to break into the Feyenoord first team, Sorensen was loaned out to fellow Rotterdam club Excelsior in 2004. After a successful loan spell, he returned to Denmark the following year.

Breakthrough at Aalborg BK

At Aalborg BK, Sorensen initially played as an attacking midfielder, but in the 2006/07 season, he was moved to the attacking line, forming a prolific partnership with Rade Prica. In the 2007/08 season, Sorensen became Danish Champion with Aalborg BK, while also winning the league's Golden Boot award with 17 goals.

International Career

Sorensen represented Denmark at various youth and junior levels, playing a total of 43 matches and scoring 15 goals.
