Jesse Carmichael is an American musician, keyboardist, and backing vocalist of the American pop-rock band Maroon 5. Born on April 2, 1979, in Boulder, Colorado, Carmichael developed his passion for music at a young age.
Early Years and Formation of Kara's Flowers
During his time in school, Jesse Carmichael began playing the guitar, showing a particular interest in it rather than keyboards. Together with Adam Levine, Mickey Madden, and Ryan Dusick, Carmichael formed the band Kara's Flowers.
Education and Musical Growth
After the disbandment of Kara's Flowers, Jesse and Adam decided to pursue their musical education at "Five Towns College," where they attended for six semesters. It was during this time that Carmichael started playing the keyboards.
Formation of Maroon 5
After two years in college, Levine and Carmichael returned to California. They reunited with their former Kara's Flowers bandmates and added James Valentine, forming the band Maroon 5. With their unique sound and catchy tunes, Maroon 5 quickly gained popularity.
