Biography of Jesse Gregory James
Jesse Gregory James is an American television presenter and entrepreneur. He is the owner of West Coast Choppers, a workshop where he custom builds exclusive choppers upon request.
Early Life and Career
Jesse James first appeared on screen in the show Motorcycle Mania, and later starred in the series Monster Garage on Discovery Channel. He claimed to be a descendant of the legendary 19th-century outlaw Jesse James, but this assertion was debunked by The James Preservation Trust.
West Coast Choppers
Jesse's passion for building motorcycles and cars led him to open West Coast Choppers in his mother's garage in 1992. The company quickly grew and soon relocated to a separate facility. Over the years, West Coast Choppers has built around 200 choppers, showcasing Jesse's craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Other Ventures
In addition to his work with West Coast Choppers, Jesse is also the owner of a restaurant called "Cisco Burger," which opened on April 28, 2006. The restaurant is located on the same street as West Coast Choppers, further cementing Jesse's presence in the automotive and culinary industries.
Television Career
In 2000, Discovery Channel produced a documentary film called Motorcycle Mania, which provided a glimpse into Jesse James' daily life. Following the success of this film, James proposed the idea for a new show to Discovery Channel called Monster Garage. In 2009, Jesse James premiered his show Jesse James is a Dead Man, which set a record for attracting over two million viewers. In this program, Jesse performs daredevil stunts, defying death and pushing the limits of his abilities.
Personal Life
Jesse James has three children, two daughters, and a son named Jesse James. On July 16, 2005, he married actress Sandra Bullock, whom he met during the production of Monster Garage.
