Biography of Elena Frolak
Elena Frolak is a Ukrainian journalist, TV presenter, editor-in-chief, and host of the program "Facts ICTV". She is an Honored Journalist of Ukraine and has completed internships at CNN (USA) and BBC (UK). In September 2008, she became the head of the information service at ICTV. Elena has conducted numerous pre-election marathons, covered official visits of world leaders, and interviewed notable figures such as the President of Ukraine, the President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso, and other prominent politicians and public figures. In April 2019, she moderated the pre-election debates between the candidates for the presidency of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko and Volodymyr Zelensky, at the Olympic National Sports Complex.
Early Life
Elena Frolak was born on April 19, 1968, in the Kostanay Region of Kazakhstan. Until the age of six, she lived in Kazakhstan. After that, her family moved to the town of Kosiv in the Ivano-Frankivsk Region, which was her father's hometown. She studied at a music school during her childhood.
Education and Career
Elena graduated from the Journalism Faculty of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in 1992. She started her career as a correspondent in the letters department of the newspaper "Sovetskaya Gutsulshchyna" (1986-1992) and later worked as a correspondent and news presenter at the Ivan-Frankivsk City Television Center (1992-1994). She also served as the chief editor of the TV company "3 Studio" (1994-1995) and the host of the author's talk show "Evening Conversation Live" (1994-1995). Elena was also a presenter for the news program "Okna-Novosti" on STB channel (1995-2000).
Since 2000, Elena Frolak has been the host and editor-in-chief of the information program "Facts" on the ICTV channel.
