However, her boyfriend, 20-year-old Adriano Stefanel, convinced her to stay home at the last minute. Jessica considered him her guardian angel for saving her life.
A Tragic Accident
Just a week later, Jessica and Adriano were involved in a car accident that took both of their lives. The couple was planning to return to Santa Monica together, with a distance of 132 km to cover. However, their journey was cut short when their Volkswagen Golf collided head-on with a truck just a few meters from their starting point.
