Jim Rohn, born Emanuel James 'Jim' Rohn in 1930 in Yakima, Washington, was a business philosopher, writer, strategist, motivator, and speaker. He spent 39 of his 70 years traveling and spreading his philosophy and principles of life success. It is estimated that he spoke before over 5000 different audiences.

Growing up on a small farm in Idaho, Jim was the only child of Emanuel and Clara Rohn. He excelled academically and ranked third in his graduating class of 140 students. After college, he worked as a clerk.

At the age of 25, Jim had a life-changing encounter with John Earl Shoaff, who introduced him to concepts of personal development that led to success and financial prosperity. This newfound knowledge deeply impacted Jim, and he soon began "creating himself." Additionally, he inherited a spiritual legacy from his parents, which further shaped his path.

Jim joined Shoaff as his protégé, but unfortunately, Shoaff passed away when Jim was just over 30 years old. From then on, Jim continued his journey as a philosopher in the business world.
