Graduating with distinction in 1974, she pursued her doctoral studies in "Solving Contact and Control Problems Using Potential Theory."

Academic Career

Dr. Wanka's academic brilliance shone brightly as she became a Research Associate at the Merseburg University of Applied Sciences in 1985. Eight years later, she attained the prestigious rank of Professor. In 1994, she ascended to the position of Rector of the university, a role she held until 2000.

Political Activism
