In the quaint town of Old Swan, Liverpool, a captivating bundle of joy emerged into the world. Little Jolene, born on July 10, 2017, astonished onlookers with her abundant, cascading locks.
From Prenatal Surprises to Postpartum Admiration
Jolene's mother, Laura, witnessed the extraordinary growth of her daughter's hair during pregnancy. "Her hair was visible on the scans, so we weren't surprised," Laura recalls. "But we had no idea it would be anything like this."
Unruly Mane and Enduring Love
Despite her son Riley's comparatively sparse hair at birth, Jolene's hair defied expectations. "Her hair is so unruly, I can't do anything with it," Laura laughs. "I wash it, but it just sticks up."
The "Most Hairy British Baby"
Inspired by an article about another "hairy British baby," Laura shared Jolene's photos online. The response was overwhelming. "When I take Jolene out in her pram, people are constantly stopping me to look at her," she says. "It can take me 20 minutes to go to the bakery down the road and back."
