European Sojourn

Bergen - A Musical Haven
In 1945, destiny brought Brusdal to Bergen, where he joined the renowned Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra as a concertmaster from 1947 onwards. He also became the first violinist in the prestigious Hindar Quartet, a close-knit ensemble that flourished until 1950.
Oslo - A New Chapter
As the Hindar Quartet relocated to Oslo, Brusdal bid farewell to Bergen in 1963 and embarked on a new chapter in his career. He held the esteemed position of concertmaster in the Norwegian Opera Orchestra from 1963 to 1965.
Philharmonic Orchestra of Oslo - A Prestigious Legacy
In 1965, Brusdal reached the pinnacle of his profession by becoming the first concertmaster of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Oslo. He held this prestigious position until 1977, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and inspiring countless aspiring musicians.
