John Brower Minnock was an American man known as the heaviest person in the world. Born on [insert date], John's weight was already a concern by the age of 12, weighing 132 kilograms. By the time he reached 22 years old, John weighed 178 kilograms, despite his height of 1.85 meters. Estimating his exact weight was difficult due to his incredible size, serious health problems, and overall immobility, but it was approximated that Minnock weighed around 634 kilograms.

John struggled with excess weight throughout his life. His weight continued to increase, and by March 1978, when he was 37 years old, he had to be hospitalized. His enormous weight caused a range of cardiovascular and respiratory problems. In the same year, John set another record by getting married to Jeannette, creating the most diverse weight couple in history. His wife, Jeannette, only weighed 50 kilograms. Minnock was put on a strict diet, allowing him only 1200 calories per day. After 16 months, he was discharged, having lost weight and weighing 215 kilograms - almost twice as much as he had shed.

Unfortunately, in October, John was readmitted to the hospital, weighing 432 kilograms. Further examination confirmed that there was no reliable treatment for his condition, and the decision to stop treatment was made. John Minnock passed away on September 10, 1983, at the age of 41, weighing 362 kilograms.
