Jonathan Katz is an American comedian, actor, and voice actor best known for his role in the animated sitcom "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist." He is currently hosting a podcast called "Hey, We're Back" on the website WKATZ.COM. Katz's father was an immigrant from Budapest, Hungary.

Early Career as a Musician and Songwriter

Originally a musician and songwriter, Katz was the leader of a rhythm and blues group called "Katz and Jammers" before becoming Robin Williams' musical director on his 1979 stand-up comedy tour. In 1998, he released a blues album titled "Brandon Project," and in 2007, Katz released a comedy album called "Caffeinated" featuring his stand-up performances.

Roles in Film and Television

Jonathan Katz appeared in the 2009 comedy biographical film "Turbocharge, the Unauthorized Story of the Cars" about the 80s rock band The Cars.
