Early Life and Education

David Boreanaz was born on May 16, 1971, in Buffalo, New York. His father was a meteorologist for a local TV station, while his mother worked in a travel agency. David and his two sisters grew up in a strict Catholic household in Philadelphia, where he attended Malvern Preparatory School.

After graduating from Malvern, David enrolled at Ithaca College in New York. He earned a college degree and moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in filmmaking.

Career in Film and Television

Despite initially aspiring to become a director, David's chance encounter with a talent agent during a dog walk led him to the acting profession. In 1997, he landed the role of the charismatic vampire Angel in the TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."
