Biography of Nikita Panfilov

Nikita Panfilov is an actor who grew up in a theatrical environment. His father, Vyacheslav Panfilov, is a director and artistic director of the Moscow Theater of Jesters, and his mother is a director at the "Monotone" theater. From a young age, Nikita was involved in acting, making his stage debut at the age of five and playing a role in the play "Ivan the Prince" and later portraying Ded Moroz at the age of fourteen.

Despite his early interest in acting, Nikita initially dreamed of becoming a tractor driver and later a sportsman. He excelled in Greco-Roman wrestling and even became a master of sports and part of the Olympic reserve team. However, he eventually quit wrestling due to the constant training and competitions. In high school, Nikita developed an interest in becoming a surgeon, excelling in anatomy and Latin terminology. However, his mother insisted on him pursuing an acting career.

After completing school, Nikita Panfilov enrolled in the acting department of the Institute of Contemporary Art. Unfortunately, he was unable to complete his studies as he was called to serve in the army. After fulfilling his military duty, Nikita continued to pursue his passion for theater and applied to several prestigious theater schools in Moscow, including the Shchukin School, the Shchepkin Higher Theater School, the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, and the Moscow Art Theater School. He was accepted into the Moscow Art Theater School and studied under the renowned actor Igor Zolotovitsky.

During his time at the Moscow Art Theater School, Nikita made his stage debut at the Moscow Art Theater in the role of Icarus in the play "The Siege" by Evgeny Grishkovets. In 2006, he graduated from the school and joined the troupe of the Moscow Art Theater. Some of his notable roles include Salieri in "Amadeus" by Peter Shaffer, Valer in Moliere's "Tartuffe," Yakov in Chekhov's "The Seagull," Nikulin in "Don't Leave Your Loved Ones" by Victor Ryzhakov, Knight Hans in "Undine" by Jean Giraudoux, Alexey Tork in "Tutish" by Marina Brusnikina, and Stepán in Gogol's "Marriage," among others.

Nikita Panfilov's film debut was equally successful. While still a student, he played the role of Petr Cherkasov in the TV series "Adjutants of Love." His character, a loyal cavalryman and patriot, captivated millions of viewers. Since then, he has appeared in various TV series, including "I Will Return," "Stepmother," "Stake on Life," "Once There Will Be Love," and "Pathfinders," among others.

Throughout his career, Nikita Panfilov has proven his versatility and talent in both theater and film. He continues to captivate audiences with his performances and remains a prominent figure in the Russian acting industry.
