Jonathan Trapp is a 38-year-old American amateur balloonist who is best known for his appearance in the animated film "Up." Inspired by the film's protagonist, Carl Fredricksen, Trapp has embarked on a series of daring balloon adventures.
Previous Achievements
In 2010, Trapp successfully completed a balloon flight over the English Channel, marking his first major achievement as a balloonist. He flew across the channel with a specially designed gondola attached to 365 enormous balloons.
The Atlantic Ocean Crossing
Trapp's latest mission is to cross the entire Atlantic Ocean, covering a distance of 2,500 miles. His ambitious plan involves using a specially built gondola, lifted by 365 helium-filled balloons. It is possible that he may end up anywhere in Europe or Africa or even be forced to make an early landing in the ocean. Nevertheless, Trapp is prepared to face any challenges that come his way and is eager to prove the limitless possibilities of human determination.
