Early Career

Maurício Corrêa, a skilled Brazilian footballer, began his professional journey with Corinthians' youth team. However, his breakthrough came in 2006 when he joined Fluminense.

Shining for Fluminense

In May 2007, Maurício made his debut for Fluminense's first team. His stellar performance in 2008 culminated in a berth in the Copa Libertadores final, where his team narrowly missed the title. The same year, he scored his maiden goal in a thrilling derby against Flamengo.

Russian Stint

In December 2009, Maurício's talents caught the attention of Russian clubs Spartak Moscow and Terek Grozny. On February 1, 2010, he inked a three-year contract with Terek.

Transfer to Zenit

On January 17, 2016, Maurício signed for Zenit Saint Petersburg. He made an impressive debut with a goal in extra time in the 2015/16 Russian Cup. In the Super Cup, he netted the winning goal, demonstrating his prowess.
