Renowned American Cinematographer: Caleb Deschanel
Early Life and EducationCaleb Deschanel was born to a French father and an American mother who raised him in the Quaker tradition. He attended Johns Hopkins University from 1962 to 1966 and went on to study at the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television in Los Angeles.
Career
Deschanel began his career as a cinematographer, working on a wide range of films. He also directed several episodes of David Lynch's "Twin Peaks" and one episode of "Bones." He became a member of the American Zoetrope studio, founded by Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas.
