Early Life and Musical TalentJosh Adam Klinghoffer was born on October 3, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. From a young age, he showed a talent for music and by the age of 15, he was already a talented multi-instrumentalist. Early Career and Collaborations
Klinghoffer's first studio recording was with the band 'The Bicycle Thief', which was fronted by vocalist and songwriter Bob Forrest. Although the band was short-lived, lasting from 1998 to 2001, they had the opportunity to tour with 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' in 2000 during the promotion of their album 'Californication'. Klinghoffer also briefly played with the band 'Thelonious Monster' when they reunited in 2004.
