Early Years and Musical Beginnings

Born in Lviv, Ukraine, Gudimov pursued a degree in landscape architecture at the Lviv Forestry Institute. However, his passion for music ignited early on, and by 1991, he had immersing himself in music full-time.

Clan Tyшины: The Birth of a Band

In 1991, Gudimov co-founded the band Clan Tyшины with Andrei Golyak, Denis Glynin, and Yuri Khustochka. The band played a diverse range of music, including art-rock, acoustic ballads, and punk. Clan Tyшины performed extensively at student festivals and local venues, gaining a loyal following among friends and fellow students.

Meeting Slava Vakarchuk and the Founding of Okean Elzy

A fateful meeting in the summer of 1994 with Slava Vakarchuk, the charismatic frontman of Okean Elzy, would change Gudimov's musical trajectory. After a impromptu jam session, the musicians decided to form a new band, with Vakarchuk as the vocalist. Retaining the members of Clan Tyшины, the group embarked on a journey that would propel them to stardom.
