Early Life and Television CareerJosie Davis is an American actress, best known for her roles in the television series "Charles in Charge" and "Beverly Hills, 90210." She was born on January 16, 1973, in Los Angeles, California. Davis began her television career in 1986, when she started appearing in the comedy series "Charles in Charge" as Sarah Powell. After the end of the series, Davis decided to further hone her acting skills and trained under Paul E. Richards, the right-hand man of Lee Strasberg. In 1998, she was accepted into the prestigious Actors Studio after just two auditions.
Breakthrough and Later Career
Davis gained further popularity with her role as Camille Desmond in the popular youth series "Beverly Hills, 90210," which she portrayed in the show's final season in 2000. That same year, Aaron Spelling, the producer of "90210," invited her to his new soap opera "Titans." However, "Titans" failed to replicate the success of Spelling's previous works, and the NBC network decided to cancel the show shortly after its premiere.
After her television roles, Davis appeared in various films, including "Slammed," "L.A. Law: The Movie," "Psychic Murders," and "Sonny," the directorial debut of Nicolas Cage. She also had a memorable role in the series "Two And a Half Men" in the Christmas episode of 2005. Some of her recent films include "Kalamazoo?," "The Trouble With Romance," and "Carolina Moon."
